food
We provide a hot nutritious meal cooked from local produce for every child after school every day. Children are selected for the programme regardless of race, gender, origin or belief. The selection process involves several conversations and two home visits. Parents that are sick from AIDS may have children that are eligible because they don’t have enough money for food.
education
At the CarePoint children receive after-school help and care multiple times each week. Each CarePoint has about 50 children where local “CareGivers” work with 10-15 children closely and collaborate with the school and the guardians of the children.
WELL-BEING
CarePoints provide a place where children can receive the physical, intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual care they need. In doing so, this ensures that orphaned and vulnerable children can live happily with extended family members.
